Linux servers and Docker, made easier to manage.
Nobleza Design provides practical setup and maintenance help for Linux systems and container-based applications. We focus on a defined task, understandable configuration and a useful handover.
Linux server support
- Installation and updates: prepare a supported Linux installation, review available updates and agree on any restart or service interruption.
- Users and SSH: configure accounts and the access needed for the agreed work, including SSH setup and connection troubleshooting.
- Services and logs: check service status, inspect relevant logs and work through routine startup or configuration problems.
- Backups and restore planning: identify what needs protecting, review a backup approach and plan a restore check before relying on it.
Docker and Compose support
- Install Docker using the appropriate documented method for your system.
- Set up containers and a Compose configuration for an agreed application.
- Review ports, volumes, environment configuration and container restart behavior.
- Troubleshoot startup failures and application connectivity using container status and logs.
- Plan routine image or application upgrades, including data protection and a way to recover if the change fails.
Application requirements, existing configuration and hosting limitations affect what can be completed. We confirm the work we can take on before starting; broader migrations or additional services need a separate agreement.
Access and changes are agreed with you
Remote access starts with your consent. We use access appropriate to the task and agree on backups and expected downtime before changes that could affect your data or running services. You keep control of your accounts and approve the proposed work.
A useful handover
At the end of the agreed task, we summarize what changed, how to check the service or container and any remaining issues. Where relevant, we include the basic start, stop, log or backup steps you need to operate the setup.
Remote or by appointment
We can discuss remote support for an accessible system, or arrange an on-site visit in Badiangan. Wider travel is by prior agreement. Send the Linux distribution, application name, symptoms and the outcome you want; avoid including passwords or access tokens in your message.
